I can repro this too on 14.04.
The following fixed it for me:
sudo cp /etc/apache2/conf.d/gitweb /etc/apache2/conf-
available/gitweb.conf
Edit gitweb.conf adding + before FollowSymLinks, as described in the
original report.
cd /etc/apache2/conf-enabled
sudo ln -s ../conf-available/gitweb.conf

After using GNOME PANEL all desktops are empty and all desktops are glass
desks.
There is only one possibility - go to terminal and reboot.

I start gnome-panel under UBUNTU 14.04 LTS.

CTRL+C CTRL+V does not work in KOPETE, SKYPE. - I must use RMB select copy
If I copy any text from Gedit I can paste it to KOPETE/SKYPE but it doesn
work from them.
Also If you copy anything - even by RMB, than you close window - CTRL+V is
EMPTY.
