Hello I eventually cleared the OS and re-installed an earlier version of Ubuntu as nothing would make OpenOffice open/uninstall/repair. I have a friend who can't remember her password (she is quite old and lost the notebook where it was kept). What can be done? Regards Graham   © Graham Jerome
