app, and it appears that OpenGL is once again working as expected.
I don't know exactly what did it, as I've already tried the post-release

I don't believe that it is a good idea to mark this bug as invalid.
This problem was caused by a bug in the 10.04 install/update process,
which made it possible for an invalid package to remain installed which
had quite a few nasty consequences. It may not be a firefox bug but
it's still a bug
Nice. I've disabled libflash-mozplugin and firefox didn't crashed. It
appears that it was a leftover package and it stirred up some trouble.
Once I've uninstalled it and reinstalled flashplugin-installer it

and fail to compile. GCC 4.3.2 throws the following error message when
trying to compile any code that includes the boost serialization header:

noticed it in Kubuntu.

Regarding the new duplicate bug report, I would like to mention that in
my case the problem occurred when I was already running 8.04 Beta out of
a fresh, clean, CD-ROM install and not from an upgrade from 7.10.

I've installed the current beta release of Ubuntu 8.04 and the same USB
mass storage device worked like a champ. Then I did a clean install of
Kubuntu 8.04 and the exact same problem still persists.

This issue keeps on getting stranger, now that I noticed that ubuntu,
through GNOME (which is known for it's very restricted configurability),
offers the ability to not only setup the removable drive permissions but
also all mount options, all that through a GUI application.
So, what gives?
