This is the only Unity launcher item with no right-click quicklist.
To me it seems important to have consistency. Though of course we know
that we shouldn't just add things for the sake of it.
I don't know if added "Switch to Workspace X" options
May I ask what the rational for this decision was?
It seems very confusing that the mouse can be in the center of the
Ubuntu button, yet the launcher refuses to show itself. I just reported
Bug #748897 before realising this was considered a feature.
My suggestion to help make this less confusing

[launcher] New Default f
Mark I think you may have have misunderstood my suggestion. I was
talking about adding more launchers by default (only four programs isn't
very many) rather than changing the applications installed on the
system.
Having more launchers by default could help new Ubuntu users discover
some of our bes

The change of the Nautilus icon helps alleviate this.
The easy way to avoid this would be to add a wider variety of launchers
by default - e.g. Software Centre (Yellow), Empathy (Blue), Banshee
(Blue), Shotwell (Turquoise), Evolution (White), etc

I have a Radeon HD 3450 using two monitors with the open source driver.
In the "Monitors" configuration then disabling "Same image in all
monitors" (so using the two screens) breaks full screen mode (in
Chromium, Banshee, etc). The Unity panel and
This just happened to me (launching Gwibber for the first time, through
the Me Menu).
Removing those two directories caused the same error to appear.
