Has anyone used Windows 10 recently? Those "3D Objects" and "Saved
Searches" folders in your home directory really add to the annoyance.
Delete them and they keep on coming back. Does Snap want to make Ubuntu
feel like Windows 10?

Simply apt full-upgrade killed this off.
The system is a fresh install, only installed packages are from official
sources (php, mysql, nginx).
I'm not a system tweaker, I like the usual stability of Ubuntu so leave
all settings as standard.

to the laptop, the power light was on but screen was black and couldn't

Off the top of my head, problems which rendered Geary unusable were:
* Certain types of attachment wouldn't show as an attachment on incoming email.
* Deleting an email deleted it completely. No bin, no undo.
* Moving multiple items to a folder/label is impossible.

I am a user that prefers using the keyboard rather than the mouse. This
