SmokePing seems to install mostly OK but has the following error
message:
non-standard Apache configuration or missing apache2ctl, not enabling
/etc/smokeping/apache2.conf
Result is that smokeping url has just a 404 Not Found error.
This is on a fresh Ubuntu Server 13.10
Never mind, the same behaviour happens after updating to squid3 (from
repo) and squidGuard 1.4 (from PPA). It seems the documentation is
rather sparse for squidGuard.conf where rewrite rules and acls are
concerned.
What Doesn't Work: stacking rewrite rules within an acl, multiple
rewrite
Documentation for squidGuard.conf (url rewrite rules and acls) not very
comprehensive and did not work as initially expected.
