Can you add more details regarding what you were doing before all this
happened? Judging by some of the logs, it seems you may have corrupted
key packages in the distribution but to be sure of that, I need to know

I don't think Gnome web browser comes default with Artful. You can check it

I tried following nacc's suggestions (he brought it over IRC) because I,
