It happens on every single presentation, not a specific document, regardless of
the presence of images.
When I open those files on Ubuntu 14.04 with libreoffice 5 from PPA or
on CentOS it works correctly, even on the same model laptop.

launcher. It does not appear every time, killing it with xkill

This only started after I created a second virbr that is routed, but removing
it again does not help.

It seems the fix is not in the repositories yet. My Empathy is still at
2.31.90-1ubuntu1 and -idle is 0.1.6-1

I have this bug on a clean Maverick install multiple times a day,
Gwibber is running >8 hours / day.

Binary package hint: telepathy-idle
After today's update (2010-08-23), the member list of IRC channels is
shown empty and has a 0 width. Expanding it shows an empty list with
people in the channel.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10
Package: telepathy-idle 0.1.6-1
So, since this was a complete clean install of Maverick, it failed to install
any of the possible backends.
I don't know if the installer follows recommends, I know aptitude does.

It was not installed, after installing dconf, the settings came back!
So it seems to be a packaging/dependency bug (this was a clean Maverick daily
install)
