Same here..."manual nomodeset fix" and other minor workarounds didn't helped.with previous nvidia driver e/o kernel (I can't be sure which of them exactly..) on the same 12.04 the nomodeset worked. Now splashscreen only on shutdown/reboot... Grub menu changes resolution "as it should"...

Hola Ricardo! Same here with italian version of Firefox! I upgraded from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3 and the former (3.0.1) Firefox (it) were recognized as "not compatible" and disabled by Firefox itself. You can fix the interface language problem by downloading and installing the "correct" (3.0.3 compatibil
