Unfortunately I got no GPU driver working other than using nomodeset. First I
tried all different versions offered by the software and updates 'additional
drivers' tab. And I tried a selection of older drivers from the NVIDIA PPA, I
think I did not even get 390 to work. Each time I

Installing Ubuntu 20.04 LTS does solve the trackpad issue together with the GPU
driver and audio. Unfortunately for compatibility reasons I have to use 18.04
so I guess I'm stuck with a mouse for now.

So whats wrong here? I think there is no real problem of contacting
DomainController. May be adcli needs some more Arguments, but adcli is
triggered directly by sssd.

after running updates today to linux-
image-4.4.0-127-generic_4.4.0-127.153 and rebooting i noticed that iotop
is not working any more. Reason are empty lines in /proc/PID/status,
which confuse iotop (and me)
In new view there is an empy line between Seccomp and
Specu
Zero-filled data is not compressed by the set compression algorithm but
gets filtered by zero-length encoding, so the zeros never hit lz4 and
compressratio does not include them.

When this new kernel will be released? This bug is killing our MySQL

ZFS works as intended, here. Zero-filled blocks are not counted into the
compression ratio, as they get dismissed early in the compression
pipeline and never hit the disks as used data:

As a followup, upstream merged my PR so 1014-kernel-lookup-bdev.patch

Just to clarify, ZFS on Linux does build on i386, although the result may be of
questionable use as of now.
So even though Ubuntu's zfsutils-linux gets built for amd64 only, the upstream
project supports i386.
I would recommend to not be too selective here.

to the /home from another Ubuntu install in my /etc/fstab? Both Ubuntus
are 7.10. I had the impression that sharing the /home should be
