Hey,
Thanks for the response. I pressed -- and it seemed to
log in at first attempt but I didn't know how to get back to the GUI so
I had to just restart the computer. I have no idea what " Is anything
meaningful logged in ~/.xsession-errors or /var/log/syslog" means sorry.
