It worked perfectly yesterday.
The console freezes reporting a bunch of bad news.
Tested in Hardy 8.04.1 amd64 desktop with linux-backports-module-hardy.
wifi LED lights, confirming fix on Inspiron 1420 with Intel 4965. RF
kill switch works, LED extinguishes when off, returns when on.
Doesn't blink with activity, but that's a separate issue.

used that successfully, as well as dsell-3stack.
The latest Hardy amd64 and i386 releases (Alpha 4) and daily-live cds
solves the issue. The only thing left to the user is to unmute Surround
in gnome-volume-control. Su

Binary package hint: apparmor
I am currently testing a recent daily version of Hardy Alpha 1 Desktop
amd64, dated 20071218. This issue is not present in Gutsy.
The apparmor module appears not to be properly built. The problem
presents itself initially in the dmesg log faci
Also receiving the same with Hardy Alpha 1 Desktop amd64 (daily
20071218) on Inspiron 1420. The errors are not present in Gutsy Final.

Thanks for posting that. That resolved my sound issue also. I wasn't
getting sound at startup, or at login. I was also experiencing the same

My logs are littered with the same messages Kow initially reported. The
pulseaudio version that is installed is the same that you identified
above. I am going test your instructions to see if that eliminates the
issue naturally. I will report the results later.
All I have done is insta
Tested the temporary fix for blackscreen, no ttys, no usplash in the
installed system based on this bug:
