I run an Intel board as well. I am hoping that maybe this bug will get

After a lot of testing it appears that only the original release kernels
work well for me.
8.04 (2.6.24-16), 8.04.1 (2.6.24-19), 8.10 (2.6.27-7) USB transfers go
smoothly as long as I don't update the kernel. Every single kernel
update messes up USB transfers for me. I have tried all of the Intrep
When I tried to downgrade to 2.6.24-19 it didn't fix the problem.
Looking at the ehci_hcd.ko file after downgrading it appears as if the
file did not get replaced by the ehci_hcd.ko file that is on the live CD
of Ubuntu 8.04.1 (kernel 2.6.24-19). Why that is? I don't know. I would

With the same file from a kernel version that USB transfers work just
fine for you.
