if by the deb you mean the transitional package, then i have it
uninstalled, marked as "residual-config". I don't get prompted to file
against the deb.

My environment contains:

KRB5CCNAME=KCM:
This means that Kerberos authentication should work through the sssd-kcm
server.
I initialize Kerberos and verify
Marking thunderbird as affected as well, since the bug is specific to
it.

For the record, I don't think this is relevant with this bug. Native
Thunderbird and Flatpak have native notifications on KDE

I believe I'm experiencing the same bug. It's more egregious on Wayland because
messages appear in the middle of the screen rather than at the designated edge.

I have the same issue for software-properties-gtk. Software-properties-
qt does start, but doesn't show any software sources as enabled.
If I had to guess, I'd blame the fact that upgrading to 24.04 seems to
