I updated the Kernel to 3.13.0-34.60~precise1 and got the same freezes
at startup. I found the kernel parameters debug ignore_loglevel
print_fatal_signals=1 LOGLEVEL=8 earlyprintk=vga,keep sched_debug in
Archlinux Wiki [1]. When i boot with these Parameters and console=tty
console=ttyS0,115200n8

We use Ubuntu 12.04 + 14.04 HWE. Sometimes the kernel freezes at
startup. There is no kernelpanic. I can not use Systemrequest-Keys for
restart. The only key that gives Feedback is the Numlock-Key (LED
toggles). When i powercyle the Computer Grub has no countdown for
booting
