your bug report, because my system also detects those ghost VGA
displays..
With Nouveau (Stock) drivers there is an unkown display in xrandr.
With Proprietary tested Nvidia there is no unkown display but i cant use
the prime
Same issue to me, my laptop is Medio Akoya P8612, with nVidia Geforce GT 555M.
Im using the laptop monitor and a HDMI connected monitor.

I totally agree with those that complain about the decisions that were
made regarding the options to hibernate and suspend. I also find what
Maxim Levitsky said in post #22 completely absolutely justified. It is
really sad when some people irresponsibly take decisions and break
things that work.

This is a problem with Dolphin. When you access a Samba share with
nautilus, the share is automatically mounted so that all media is
accessed like from a local drive and streaming is done transparently.
Dolphin does not mount shares, which causes all the problems with
accessing and streaming
One more thing I've noticed, which makes me believe it is NOT AMULE'S
FAULT, BUT A BUG IN UBUNTU.
I have installed Adobe AIR recently. I created an application for AIR
that starts without window and with an icon in system tray. It also uses
AIR's autostart feature. There is only one way to do it
I would like to not here, that I have the machine set to use PulseAudio
as ICH AC97, which I find the best choice.

Right. Just to summarize:
1) With Guest Additions I've noticed no errors.
2) Guest Additions can't be installed as they are on provided ISO, as the
installer is not up to date with the newest Xorg.
3) I agree with Ladislav Bonita that this error should not occur if Guest
Additions are not
This bug still affects Jaunty (now the newest BETA, with latest
updates!) - how come it hasn't been resolved for that long? The
regression mentioned by Philippe Gauthier doesn't give much hope that
anything will change for us in the nearest future.

No screen updates when using desktop-effects
What Kevin fount is not my case. For me GNOME does not remember
programs. I have added it manually to Startup Applications. Works fine
for other programs, yet aMule disappears when minimized, somehow. It
does not disappear if opened by hand, i.e. without autostart enabled.
I have also checked
VirtualBox Guest Additions do not yet recognize new Xorg that came with
Jaunty Alpha 5. You can hack the install script (google is your friend
if you want to know how) and install the additions, which seem to work
for now, yet I am not quite sure if they are 100% compatible. Anyway, it
is Guest

suspend. The screen stays off. The computer looks like it just hung
since I cannot even toggle caps lock.
