I'm using m17n-db 1.3.1-1build1 on feisty.
On line 234 of file /usr/share/m17n/vi-telex.mim, the rule is:
(aff (insert aff))
which is contradict with the following one on line 235:
(AFF (insert AF))
The 234 line should be corrected to:
The gimmie version that crashes is 0.2.1.repack-0ubuntu1, with sexy-python
0.1.9-0ubuntu2.
The one I installed seperately without sexy-python is 0.2.4 from
http://beatnik.infogami.com/Gimmie.
I'm not clear about which archive you meant, the sexy-python site

I have updated to sexy-python 0.1.9-0ubuntu3.
The crash has gone away.

The crashes happens at no particular action. Also apport and bug-buddy
doesn't catch the crash. Therefore I file a new bug report other than
#85100.
The environment: Ubuntu Feisty x64, GNOME 2.17.92, GTK+ 2.10.9

Hi, I did the whole procedure again. This time I could switch from
gnome-terminal to geany once using gimmie, the next time it crashed.
After I did `(gdb) thread apply all bt full' and arrived at another

The problem persists on 20070214 i386 alternate cd (note that the i386 image
was pulled out of 20070214.1)
Hope this bug will be fixed in herd 4
