Here is temporary fix: Unmount SDCARD prior to suspend by running a
script in /etc/pm/sleep.d

Not sure which version of kernel got the fix for bug #477106, but my
Dell D420 running 2.6.32.31 still fails to suspend, and as I mentioned

It is definitely trying to grab information each time you click on the
clock applet. (I checked my network usage.)
If you set evolution to work in offline mode (FileWork Offline)
everything is as fast as before. Right now I have 5 calendars enabled
and have no lag!

It improves if you choose the type on the web instead of Google when
you create it. For the URL you should use the ical link which you can

I guess it is not a bug. All you need is to install 'python-qt3' (can be
easily installed via synaptic). The script weekalarm needs it. I'm
