I did rmmod ath_hal that was using interrupt 23 and then rmmod ehci_ecd
and uhci_ecd. Then I did modprobe ehci_ecd and it works.

because it has the same ID as a much older model.

If I modprobe the wifi driver, I get this:

That's all. then it hangs. (wifi driver is NOT loaded atm, as I don't
care)

does not help at all. The problem is that Network manager think I have
NO network device. And then programs like Gaim think I have no network
because of Network Manager.
The only proof that my network cards work is because it let the IP
packet go through so I can file that bug.

There is no ath0 in the /etc/network/interfaces
My problem at first is with the wire. It claim that I have NO network
device when the wireless driver is not loaded. eth0 is there and working
(on board, using the tg3 driver).

I hibernate by Z60t (2511-E5U) using Fn-F12 or using Hibernate either in
the logout menu or gnome-power-manager.
The system seems to hibernate.
When I power the laptop back on, it just reboot and then swapon fail

Rebel XTi. For the later you need a news version of libgphoto2. 2.3.0
has just been released.

there is a weird bug were I have seen this happening. I don't know
*where* it is, but it exists.
Yes, for reliable date information use EXIF.
