I had the same issue in a ZBook G5 but interestingly enough I got this
working.
Some background: I had used the Nvidia drive 460 with success. However
due to a small mishap, I had to reinstall Ubuntu. Second time around,
though I go the error reported here. I tried installing the drives
directly v

18.04 LTS - ACPI parsing err
An update. I have update 18.04.2 with the 4.18 kernel.
Still not working. Still have ACPI errors. Now I get
error messages for thew USB ports - "can't set config".
As far as the behavior goes - now the track pad works on boot
but ACPI wake will not work with the laptop's built-in
keyboard not w
Link to change the package name does not work. It has already been
changed to linux. I assume the issues are kernel related. Need I change
anything else?

Try the following:
1. Open the Ubuntu "settings" (use the docker or search for it)
2. Go to the sound tab
3. Select an output device you want to test
4. Click the "test speakers"
5. If it is *not* working check if the sound applet in the top bar shows the
device muted
6. Un-mute it
It would be nice to have a fix. For personal use it is not a major
issue. But at enterprise level this should not happen.

Just upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 and mount.cifs not working anymore as normal
user.
If I do 'sudo', I can mount cifs share, otherwise not.
I also can not find umount.cifs after upgrade.
