Have two sets of Joystick. The Saitek X52Pro seems to work fine
(probably because the bug has been fixed) however my CH Products Yoke
demonstrates the same behaviour. The middle Lever is moving the mouse
horizontally as well as the Rolling action (turn yoke to the
left/right). The pitch action
I think I did a mistake, the Saitek x52Pro also moves the mouse pointer
once you move the pitch and roll axes.. So problem is not solved.

Although there is no control for blinking behaviour in gnome-terminal

works for me, from 9.04 to 10.04.

telepathy-butterfly runs for a very short time before Empathy fails, and
I don't have enough time to find its PID so as to kill it.
Since I am not much experienced with Linux, is there any way to kill it
by its process name?

A quick fix is this:
Remove telepathy-butterfly and you should just have telepathy-haze installed.
It works under Ubuntu 9.10, I suppose it works in 10.04 too.
