Binary package hint: chromium-browser
I installed chromium-browser in Lucid Lynx and found that very long line
can't be selected when application window is maximized because
horizontal scroll doesn't occur by dragging it.
The steps to reproduce this problem are:

Hmm... I understand what you mean, but the situation is not the same as
in 2005 because scim and scim-bridge were changed to universe packages
in Lucid Lynx.
Anyway, I resolved this problem by removing the unnecessary packages as:
$ sudo apt-get remove scim-bridge-client-gtk scim-gtk2-immodule
I installed Mitsuya's test package, and it seems to work fine except
that I must execute the following command after installation:
$ sudo jisftconfig add

I use chromium-browser in Ubuntu 10.04 RC.
I selected chromium-browser in the dialog of gnome-default-applications-
properties, and it actually worked as a default web browser. However,
when I opened the preference window of the

Sorry, I read Bug #433397 and realized why emacs22 is installed prior to
emacs23. Before that, I'd been unaware of the fact that emacs23 is in
universe. But I think the version number of emacs package
(23.1+1-4ubuntu2+22.2+0ubuntu6) and the above description are very
confusing.

After upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10RC, I'm testing the IBus input method.
Then I found that IBus can be activated in the passphrase dialog such as gksudo
and
screensaver, although passphrases can contain only alphabetical or numerical
characters.
This
I confirmed SCIM also can be activated in gksudo dialogs and the
multibyte characters can be input into the passphrase fields. However,
when unlocking the screensaver, SCIM is disabled unlike IBus.

debug options, DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=debug noopt nostrip, and made
the backtrace.

connections must be left empty on
a route machine, but NetworkManager arbitrarily set those to 0.0.0.0.
Next week, I will try to build gnome-system-tools from sources with
debug options and make backtrace again.
