I connected a Logitech BT Adapter (audio receiver) via bluetooth; it
works. I then try to connect my BluetoothMouse3600 Microsoft Bluetooth
mouse and it takes ~20 attempts to connect, and then if I'm lucky it'll
work for a few minutes on the 20th attempt, before it fails.

I didn't have anything installed that didn't come from default repos,
and nothing too unusual. I did apt list --installed > stuff.txt before I
reformatted and still have that file and not much else of use.

I forgot to mention I did try a couple of other things with grub and
nothing helped. I also noticed something strange, in case it's a hint at
what happened - when I got back in to my system by manually selecting
the efi file I got that popup that ubuntu gives you the first time you
get in to unity
