I tried installing again. I noticed during the installation, the
"details" console showed a lot of SATA Link Down errors while files were
being copied. After swapping SATA cables in my machine, it seems the
install went flawlessly.

This isn't the first time this happened to me. I previously submitted a
bug report, to which you guys indicated I had an ISO with a bad MD5
checksum. I re-downloaded the ISO, checked the MD5, and burned/verified
it (as opposed to using a flash drive last time). When I noticed

Ubuntu installer randomly crashed with no interaction on my part. I'm
