Installed fresh Lucid 10.04 on a Dell D600, problem still exists. Left mouse button sticks when pressing either of the left physical buttons, have to resort to pressing the right mouse button to unstick. Clicking by tapping the touchpad works fine.
Changing bios setting to "PS/2 Mouse" instead of "Touchpad - PS/2 mouse" had no effect.
