Getting Fatal IO error: client killed when trying to report a bug

reproduce it on a fresh installation with a simple ubuntu-bug apport
then clicking send. The bug is still reported correctly, but this error

The Go package in precise is Go 1.0, while the latest version from
golang.org is 1.0.3. This is just a bugfix update, so I don't see a
reason why it shouldn't be updated, especially in an LTS release.
Also, why is the package version 2:1-5? where did that number come
from?
Note that right-clicking these files in Nautilus to compress and extract
them *does work*, which is a handy workaround.

I had this problem in Lucid installed on an ext3 partition. I wiped the
installation and installed Maverick on an ext4 partition and the problem
disappeared, as #29 suggested. Perhaps this is worth investigating, what
filesystem are you people using?
