I think it is not related because I dont get black images. I just get

I have Ubuntu 12.10 with Unity but this problem exists in the recent

I want to use the imagemagick "import" command to grab a rectangula area.
It should return only the visible content of the screen, that is, the top most
windows. But when there are many windows overlapping sometimes it doesn't work
that way.

each time I visit this site in firefox, http://www.ecotura.com/, if I
have java activated, the firefox windows starts to flash and get into a
mess. After, the whole desktop gets the same, and the sessions crashes.

but i'm getting this compilation problem:
