I have noticed a bug with this.
If the printer becomes disconnected cups uses 100% of the CPU until you delete
the printer.
I still have not figured out why but as long as the printer is connected to the
network CPU usage remains normal.

My Cannon mx700 has been working perfectly with this.
Compile the cannon network support in to cups
copy the cannon 700.ppd file to the appropriate directory.
Install the printer.

The 97xx driver does not support the Geforce 8400m cards.
I did a manual install of the 100.14.11 driver and it works.
Could we get a new restricted driver to support these cards
