I think that a better method is to do somenthing like set a new var
PREFER_ON
the patch is not
imposing the size.
IMHO I think that allowing people to choose the max size a good thing, but,
anyway, the final decision is yours, and I will respect it.

I'm tunning ubuntu to a low memory device without swap (eee pc 701), I'm
currently managing the max size of tmps partitions by setting size on
/etc/default/tmpfs, but udev doens't use that settings, so I've made a
patch to correct it.

With the last updates of 8.10 everything seems to work as expected
Latitude 110L
Fn+ESC -> suspend to ram
Fn+F1 -> suspend to disk
Fn+F2 -> rfkill works but with no visual feedback on gnome
Fn+F3 ->Battery info
Fn+F8 -> CRT/LCD (not tested)
Fn+F10 -> Eject
Fn+Up Arrow -> Brightness up
Fn+Down Arr
I think I found the problem, but I don't know where I can fix it.
Follow:
On my DELL latitude 110L, Fn+F3 (battery) doesn't work on 8.10, used to
work on 8.04.
When a simulate the keycode 236, discovered by:

< KEY_BATTERY=236

I have this same issue after upgrading, session is not saved, I had
removed ~/.gnome2/session for test and it is not created now.
Session Save is a very important feature, I agree that this bug should
be a high priority fix.

gnome session does not start window manager nor restores the previou
seems the same bug but In my case the search folder was created for a
IMAP folder (see screenshot) with others rules
Note: I've selected 'if all criteria are met' because I know that the
search folder will match no messages.
If I recreate the 'search folder' the new message count will be correct

and then increments by the number of messages in the local folder each
time I restart evolution."

I have upgraded my ubuntu from 8.04 to 8.10 RC1 and my evolution (GNOME
evolution 2.24.1) crashes sometimes (race condition?) when I quickly
select a vfolder, do a search and clean it.
