discodover, I recomend to use the DEB packages.
It is more easy. Rebuilding of the kernel is a hard question. It is not
a good work for new users.
But... If you like extrime... Use How to rebuild linux kernel Ubuntu

It`s not need. Problem is avaliable for any document.
Important points is:
- filled cells;
- first merging at OOO session;
- vertical selection.
