I am new to launchpad; please forgive me if I'm not following the right protocol, but I think this is the best way for me to get some help. The nasty bit: I'm using the CentOS 5.3 distro. The good bit: you have found and fixed the exact bug I'm having w/Intel DG45ID mobo w/G45 and Samsung SyncMaster226BW. Virtual consoles don't work, ctrl-alt-F?, but then F& and it comes back. Get an initial 80x40 login then startx screen at boot; when I log out of X, get the dark screen "Not optimum mode..." but blind startx works.
Does anyone know the CentOS/RHEL 5.3 package corresponding to xserver- xorg-video-intel? Or how I might take the info from here back to the CentOS folks? Thanks. -- [g45] virtual consoles not shown, Intel G45 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
