If you create a zero-length line on a canvas, with, e.g.,
$c create line 100 100 100 100
it normally does not appear at all. However in Ubuntu 13.10 it shows as a 2x2
pixel dot, as long as the width is 1.
I tried it with tk8.6 and the same thing happens.

Well now that #1247785 is fixed, my code works fine in 13.10 and I can
just tell my users to upgrade, so by all means close the bug -- but I
wouldn't say it was invalid. I'll be sure to check for the problem in
future beta versions.

On invoking the Tcl shell I get:
$ tclsh8.5
application-specific initialization failed: Can't find a usable init.tcl in the

http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash told me to install the version
with the -dbg suffix if it was available, which I did. Looking through the
files in this package I found

OK, have installed nautilus-dbg but cannot run it. It installed the executable
as /usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/nautilus but I get:

window going on the display. Instead the display flickers a lot and no

Problem: Can't burn DVD+RW disc (media not supported). Burning an reading
CDroms and DVD-r goes well.
The funny thing is that the DVD hardware does support DVD+RW (I checked de
harwdware specifiactions) and in previous versions of Ubuntu it has never been

I have the same problem, though no messages in dmesg. CD sound is
slightly to very distorted depending on volume and music style. Other
audio (e.g. mp3s) plays fine. Maybe it's got something to do with the
way of playback (analogue vs. digital)? I'll see if I can find anything
on the subject.
