Public bug reported: I'm not quite sure what other information I can provide. I was installing Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (amd64) on my HP Envy 15z-j100, when the installer crashed. I don't quite remember the error message, but it was something about being unable to overwrite a file. I chose to erase the entire disk.
