I have the similar problem. I had used it at 10.04. Just upgrade last
week. But Pitivi didn't work. As what had mentioned, the rendering hang.
If any effect is used, the program will close unexpectedly.

Still don't have the solution for this bug? It happen to me each time I
boot my computer. Solve it by change the time format as mentioned
before.

The F-spot facebook plugin can't login to facebook AUTOMATICALLY.

The problem is Xorg used in 10.04 lucid lynx. I run the alpha 2 in my laptop

I try the 9.10 beta now. Don't have the Xorg freeze problem. However,
the compiz cannot be started. Similar problem in 9.04. The strange thing
is here. I try out 9.10 alpha 5, the intel graphic card can support
compiz well.
