The 96 driver works with my Geforce4 Go 440 64MB, however the fonts are now corrupt with wine, even in winecfg itself. This is not a missing fonts issue because the fonts are correct again if I revert to the "nv" driver. Also whether or not compiz is enabled makes no difference. I did not have this

Public bug reported: I've just upgraded from Xubuntu Feisty to Gutsy on my old Toshiba Portege 3440 CT (mobile pentium III 500 MHz, 192 MB ram.) It ran well on Edgy and Feisty but is painfully slow with Gutsy. It is virtually unusable. The problem seems to lie with the kernel (2.6.22-14-generic).
