As a dev/user I happen to agree with the sentiment of the last two
authors. Sure Nautilus doesn't have anything to do with this, but that
is what the user sees. I remember reading something somewhere that
Ubuntu was going to work better with upstream to help solve this very

If I do a test from Gimp it appears the colors are correctly
represented, if i use OOo and import a picture, colors are skewed. Is
this a PDF to PS issue? I really don't know much about cups+gutenprint
since it has always worked with x86. This is with the armel
architecture.

Reviewing this further reveals that there is more wrong here. Only Black
is mapped to the correct color at the printer.
Cyan is mapped to Yellow in ink
Magenta is mapped to Cyan in ink
Yellow is mapped to Magenta in ink

My Logitech QuickCam E2500 also does not work with Intrepid kernel
2.6.27-7-generic x64. Since gspca is now a part of the kernel and
support for the E2500 requires a patch to gspca, can we expect an
updated kernel with support for this camera? So far I have not seen any

This is an interesting question. I have been to many hotels, they either
use some kinda of WDS or mesh mode...all using the same SSID. I've heard
that XP and Vista seamlessly roam between them picking the AP with the
strongest signal. How does NetworkManager work? It doesn't appear to do

Your suggested workaround does NOT work with my mobo. The only option
that I've found to work is nolapic. To me this bug does not appear to be
a duplicate since the solutions offered do not work. This is with kernel
2.6.17-11.

The released version of Edgy 6.10 still has the same problem with the
Kernel Panic. I've found a workaround for my motherboard/BIOS
combination by passing the: nolapic parameter to the boot string. This
allows the LiveCD to boot. Hopefully this info will help people.

I can let it sit longer...although my numlock key doesn't change the
status on my keyboard (which normally means my machine is locked up),
also ctrl+alt+del doesn't reboot.
I'm not by the machine right now, but I will verify a few things later
today. My CD drive is fast, I was able to boot with Da
