I ended up booting up in regular USB mode instead of UEFI and it worked
out fine.
Don't use UEFI on this beta if you want to have a good time :)

Got the same error trying to install 10.10 Maverick via USB stick.
Problem solved by selecting ACPI=off option at the USB stick's boot screen.

YML You are Brilliant. These commands allow me to manually activate the
headphones and mute the speakers when I need to use headphones. The next
question is how to get it to happen automatically when I plug in and
unplug the headphones. I'm on a DV6-1045 btw.
