Public bug reported: I was installing my Kubuntu Edgy Eft Knot2, on the fifth step, it raises and error window: "The advanced partitioner (qtparted) crashed. Further information may be found in/var/log/installer/syslog, or by running qtparted directly. Do you want to try the advanced partitioner again, return to automatic partitioning, or quit this installer?". I need to manually edit my partition table, 'cause I left a special place for this Kubuntu and I can't format this drive now (I have Windows NTFS, Ubuntu 6.06 ReiserFS, swap and the dynamic space, that I use to try various distros, actually just a blank ReiserFS). The problem is in the NTFS that isn't supported by qtparted (as far as I understood in the log below), but I can't afford to lose this NTFS partition and I can't make and back-up (I don't have 10 DVD-R to burn now ^^). Any solution? And why is doesn't work only in Kubuntu Edgy Eft, in my Ubuntu Dapper Drake it is perfect and can even redimensionate NTFS.
