Of course writing at shutdown/reboot only works on a clean shutdown, not
on a loss of power. Writing the clock value on _boot-up_ maybe wiser,
yes your clock will be out by boot time+uptime but at least it will be a
sane value for next time and as you mentioned, with network connectivity

As long as __ARCH_ARM_7A__ isn't defined the build will fail as the
defines will not be declared.

When selecting the various menu's down the left hand side, the
transition animation as the icon's move in view isn't consistent.
Sometime it is a slide effect, sometimes a fade.

Upstream are unwilling to combine embryo with the edje code base so if
this is the desired course of action we need to carry the change
ourselves in Ubuntu which may be worse than the initial problem.

Cause is found. Its the parsing of the templates.dat file once per
debconf-communicate call. Work is underway to use debconf-communicate
persistently whilst it is needed by Casper to avoid the multiple
reloading of the same file.
