Public bug reported: On my laptop MSI GE40 (MS-1492) with Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS and kernel 3.13.0-149-generic resuming after a suspend no longer works. It hangs on a blank screen and is unresponsive. The only option is to hold the power button for 6 seconds to shut it down. It worked fine on 3.13.0-1
