I can confirm this bug for intrepid (kubuntu) on amd64. nm-openvpn-serv
crashes when trying to connect to an existing openvpn connection:

It did work on clean

the headers are found in the python-dev package. please install this
and retry. - That is exactly the problem. python-numeric (as it is now)
depends on python-dev, yet this dependency is not reflected by the
package. I never suggested to change the python package in any way!
