Hello, this is not a bug I think. I have the same "problem". My
motherboard can use both ECC and non-ECC RAMs. I use non-ECC ram and
motherboard reports, that it use non-ECC and it can use ECC RAM. Not
that it use ECC RAM as non-ECC RAM.
The bug should be corrected by lowering severity from warnin
@David, is it really different bug? My apport fetched exactly the same
bug as is in subject.
My system has the same symptoms as other people here. In short: System
is unresponsive after resume. I tried to connect to system via SSH and
it works. Who of that people tried to login via ssh after resum
@David, this issue happens even when I use proprietary nvidia driver. I
have tested both available versions (173 and 185).
I think that this problem is about USB subsystem that don't wakeup
properly and hangs system or combination of it. Proprietary nvidia
driver don't cause black screen. USB subs
This security issue is still possible in 9.10!! Please add some limit
into /etc/security/limits.conf as a default value to prevent this.

I can't get form suspend to ramusing usb keyboard like in vista. I must
use power button than it beeps 4 times. Screen is withnout signal, USB
subsystem is dead. USB keyboard and mouse are without power. I can login
using ssh from another comuter.

flash it yet. How Windows can access 13 channels without flashing wifi?

The workaround described at http://dmartin.org/content/running-java-web-
start-apps-ubuntu-linux-amd-64 solves it only partialy. Application runs
in java5 not in 6. Java5 have serious problem in keyboard mapping in
Swing components and it is unusable for me. (I use Czech layout.)
