for me the issue disappeared, at least it is not anymore at 80% of
battery life but at around 35%, may be a new bug?

I updated to the latest Ubuntu-kernel today and it seems the panic
disappeared, still testing and will report again later. From the changlo
I conclude that it was the bluetooth driver and not the wifi, actually.

I tested it with the mainline kernel 3.0.0.12.14 and it still occurs.
I can report that it is not related to a specific time but rather a battery
state at around 85%.
rebooting after the kernel-panic creates another kernel panic soon after
lightdm log-in (if not yet connected to AC).
