It's in the nvidia-settings package. The file is /usr/lib/libXNVCtrl.a

I did manage to discover what was causing this!
On my laptop it would crash, on my desktop it would not.
Came to discover that somehow on my laptop, even after 'resetting' gnome
(by removing the .gnome, .gnome2, .gconf, .gconfd directories) that some
settings sit around, like your preferred
I've got the same thing, even while trying the 1.0.0 package from
getdeb.net and from Debian's Experimental. The only thing I could guess
is the problem is that it does not like the new GTK. It worked fine in
Debian Sid.

Public bug reported:

Monsterz on Gutsy version 0.7.0-2 plays ok, but when the game is closed,
it doesn't actually quit, and leaves a python process running that will
boost up cpu utilization to 100% until you kill the python process. If
you just kill the one listed

Debian Experimental currently has the 1.0.0 release. Unfortunately it
depends upon libquicktime1 and libfaad0. When I tried to install these,
they removed gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse libquicktimehv
I was just bitten by this one as well. What's with the change, I didn't
think the API would change between a simple Ubuntu revision. Hopefully
soon the sdricoh_cs driver will be included into the kernel, for now it
simply doesn't work (I have an Asus z71v and it's reported that this

This has fixed my issue of the Scanning not working on my HP PSC 1315v
so that I don't have to modify the models.dat file, which actually is
mentioned in the fixes in 1.7.2.
I surely hope that 1.7.3 makes it into Feisty!
I've attached my output from printingbuginfo

I have a PSC 1315v (which is identified as the PSC 1310 Series by HPLIP)
and while the printing is working well, and previously the Scanning part
was as well, it no longer does in Feisty.
After searching on the web, I found this same bug report,
Public bug reported:
I noticed today that the sidebar of the Gnome Control Center does not
follow the color scheme of my GTK theme (E17-GTK-gray from
http://gnomethemes.org/?cat=2 )
It remains a horrible brown, instead of using the gray color from the
theme. Is this a bug from the Pixmap
I think this should just have a name change. A simple File - Export
Package List would be better than Save Markings. Since this is exactly
the wording of the various requests I've seen towards this. I know this
is an old bug report, but just thought I'd add my two cents.
Actually maybe it'd
I got it to work here. Here's what I did. Since Ubuntu's package
maintainers have screwed up and included nvidia-settings within the
nvidia-glx package, the nvidia-settings package conflicts with it.
Also the nvidia-settings program itself is much newer in the nvidia-glx
package, and supports
I will confirm this bug, and it happens on CRT screens as well. I've
tried it with both Planet Penguin Racer and atari800 emulator. The 9631
driver fixes the issue.
