Title:
Drag and Drop File Auto Opens
Public bug reported:
When dragging and dropping a file, if the mouse hovers over a folder for
a split second, the folder opens.
This behaviour is quite jarring. Whether or not you intended to drop
into that folder, you may not have intended to open that folder.
The hover time can't be set. And
I'm on 12.10 kernel 3.5.0-25 and I'm booting off an SSD (which seems to
be a common symptom).
When the blanks screen occurs, I know it wants the FS crypt password.
So I type it in blind on this black screen. Then the rest of boot
occurs normally. I never see the Grub screen.
I tried adding a 5
I have the same problem. And it happens quit frequently.
Sometimes it will happen when moving with as few as 100 files. But
generally it is with folders with higher file counts.
I have seen it happen on my SSD and also via SMB when moving files
around on my NAS.

At the moment, there are no repositories left in the "Other Software"

This problem still exists in Lucid 10.04.
The Logitech MX900 mouse used to work OK but is now so jerky that's it's
unusable. Common workarounds mentioned on the internet about this
problem refer to config settings that no longer seem to exist in Lucid.
