Have this same issue trying to boot Windows 8.1 Preview. The Grub2
entry is there, but every time I try choosing it, it just reboots my PC.
Trying to boot from 13.04.

Not a very common issue, but a quick Google search reveals others have had this
issue too.
I would say the culprit is Grub2.

An interesting observation I
So not sure what has changed in Grub2 between Lucid and Quantal but its
strange that it will boot F13 just fine but not a current Ubuntu version
on BTRFS.
