me I'm stuck with version 68
gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock is already the newest version

What the heck? I woke up to a 9GB+ logfile (/var/log/uvcdynctrl-
udev.log) on the root partition and "no space left on device" errors.
I'm thinking we should pipe that logfile to post in this thread and see
how long it takes to get attention. :D

Using 18.04, when wayland is selected for the session, byzanz-record
doesn't work. It always errors:

FYI, I believe this pertains to Non-interactive mode - that is, I
pressed Print Screen without specifically opening the GUI.
Background: The UX expectation (from Windows) is that Print Screen
simply places the screenshot into the clipboard. When Print Screen is

For me, minimizing and restoring does NOT fix the issue, but resizing
the windows fixes the issue. Unfortunately, some windows are not
resizeable.
Happens mostly to VirtualBox and Wine - it used to happen to Chrome a
2 years later... LIM in 14.04 is a poorly thought-out hack. What's more
important, a window title, or the menus. I get the feeling that nobody
on the Unity team actually uses local menus, so nobody really thinks
about it.
At least in 12.04 I could disable the whole global menu nonsense and get

Potential workaround:
For those simply trying to mount a Mac OS X AFP share from Ubuntu 12.04,
gvfs-mount seems to do the trick. I'm not sure why googling for mount
afp from ubuntu didn't seem to turn it up.
gvfs-mount afp://username@server/share_name/

This behaviour must be inherent in some other GUI library, because it's
not apparent in the gnome-terminal code.
I use the highlight copy/paste buffer so extensively that this is a very
serious usability issue for me. I finally got fed up and installed
konsole. While it did install some 191MB
Further notes:
- It's not just while focusing into the window, but that's when the
behaviour is most annoying.
- The problem is worst in the end of line space to the right of text
in the terminal. In that area, any mouse movement (seemingly even a
sub-pixel movement) will cause a selection and
