I had the exact same problem. I uninstalled evms and now my partitions
are mounted without problems. I don't know if that is the correct
solution, but it worked for me. YMMV.

At some point during Edge development cycle, booting has become
extremely slow. It takes almost three minutes from grub until X starts.
This is on AMD64 running the latest everything.
