Further info,
When the HP 8510w is powered on, the ethernet LED blinks too - I can see
in my router DHCP menu, that is registers the MAC address
01:00:5E:00:00:FB
Perhaps i can use special software to give it a new BIOS ?
Too bad i'm not on support with HP for this PC.

Im running the PC on the A/C without battery
I reseated RAM
I've tried powering up without Internal harddrive and internal DVD
drive.
