In English version, the welcome message in the start page does not have
code name - it just says 'Welcome to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS!'. Thus it seems to
be better to take the code name off from the welcome message in the
Korean page.

I experienced the sample problem and found that it is caused by
difference in wvdial output format between 7.04 and 7.10.
On Ubuntu 7.04, wvdial generates console output starts with '-->' such
